I can't believe this Jura guy literally threatens to enslave a monster that is the equivalent of a WMD and Ryu doesn't go for a second attempt to kill him. But Bell being Bell would probably have stopped her again, because even trying to let loose this absurdity of a monster on innocent people wouldn't warrant taking a human life in Bell's eyes. Bell really has to grow the F up. I am glad the monster took Jura out just as I had hoped the entire time (pretty cliché honestly but I gladly take it), but the fact that Bell and Ryu did really allow this absolute lowlife to enslave the Juggernaut is just peak absurdity. Bell is lucky he randomly met Marie to befriend her, he is lucky that she finds him in just the right time while he is short of bleeding out and drowning, and everyone is lucky that Jura didn't manage to enslave the Juggernaut. Just imagine the carnage he could have caused if he took it to the surface.
The fight itself was really cool tho, and definitely one of the strongest points in this first half of the season. I am however glad I waited until now to watch it and can just continue watching now. This is an absolutely horrible way to split a season, this cliffhanger is painful.

The last two episodes are amazing! Even Bell's power up wasn't enough! Juggernaut is far and away the most dangerous monster in the series so far!

bells and juras fate was so laughably predictable. now to wait for part 2 to finish so i can binge it.
and i think "part x" seasons are dumb just put all the total 24~~ eps into one season

They do that for quality reasons. Anime episodes aren't already finished when a season starts, they're finished as it airs.

Splitting up the season reduces the chance of unexpected delays partway through. It's also presumably far easier to reserve 12-13 episodes on a TV network rather than 24.

yeah there is probably some proper reason like that for it but just somewhat recently a lot of series have started doing it so it just looks more like a trend than a "strategy"

Ah I forgot there are healing spells in their world, a lost arm or leg is no big deal. I wonder if the same trick will work if someone's beheaded too.

Anyways folks, always remember to have a scarf around your neck, it works wonder when you aren't even expecting it, like a shield. Yes like a shield, that same thing Captain America carries himself with.

Don't know I didn't find any groundbreaking changes this season, they still fighting with those same monsters, maybe dragon was a new inclusion, also yeah animation improved a bit too. But yeah that's it. Hestia not appearing certainly helped, but that too got equalled with the overbearing stupid self of Bell.

You can't heal what's dead so beheaded = no chances. For a lot limb it can be reattached through healing spell but if you've lost the limb (for example it was eaten) then you're out of luck.

6:32 Damn, another hot chick is dead.
Bors is one lucky son of a gun!
Bell vs. Juggernaut fight looked good! After so many asspulls, I'm glad it didn't end predictably. I was expecting him to beat that thing with Argo Vesta.
Damn, the 37th floor. Meanwhile, Loki Familia goes through there like routine. lol
I am looking forward to part 2! I'm still looking forward to a major supporting cast dying. Also, Bell better levels up to 5 or 6 after beating Juggernaut. 8/10

Well a lot of convenient things going on to make sure Bell survives, plot armor is strong.

This season had a bit too much talking at places, pacing wasn't the best. Additionally they spent too much time in the dungeons for my taste. And yes I know that's literally in the title, but I still prefer the episodes about the city more. 7/10

Wth were those adventurers thinking firing magic at it? I mean they literally just witnessed it bounce back the magic Bell cast. Anyway, things started to get a bit random and out of nowhere there towards the end.

Well, Bell survived the neck swipe due to Cassendra giving Bell the Scarf before.

But apparently cute mermaid got his arm and healed him right back up, even reattaching the arm... LOL, holy shit, her blood's powerful.

And Bell firebolt again... but this time he used the reflected powered up magic to "Power up" his dagger, so it's a lot stronger than the one he used before.

.

Also... why are we having Bors survive again?

.

Well... the Snake was still alive and "ate" Bell and Ryuu and went under... with the Raid Boss now following them... and then the regular Raid Boss shows up...

So... who's going to be saving the Hestia familia from the Raid Boss?

Well at least things kinda got back to some decent rpging, and the stakes at one point seemed real. When things get gorier and darker, thats when I start to care more...BUT alas, some pointless side questing revolving aorun a side character almsot detracted from how good this season could have been. It was still better than the last one, but...oh boy. Splitting things between 2 half seasons just seems all too common these days. And Vell is just such a Mary sue and the characters all have begun to wear upon my patience....Will we ever find out if Bell is related to one of the gods like Hermes or Cronus? Will e officially become a demi god? WE SHALL FIND OUT lol

I was complementing the writers last time but WTF did they just DEUS EX MACHINCA his arm back on like seriously -_- I guess actions don't have consequences like wtf, als Boris has like next level plot armor btw but that's still sort of funny, Bell just getting his arm back destroys the respect I had for the writers last episode

Like I don't hate them but they really messed up there, that's not really good writing if you ask me that's the kind of stuff I get angry at for shows like Legends of Korra and other bad shows that have bad writing.
also that 3D Hydra bit at the end was a mistake like that looked out of place a pretty awful.

The next part is reply to another comment (all of this was manually transferred from another website and in reality commented 2 years ago):
The comment that 's not mine: "Observation is so important. Why would those guys charge a massive magic attack, after Bell already tried that shit and got blasted T^T. It seemed pretty clear magic wasn't gonna cut it on Juggernaut lmao"
My reply: And like everybody was ignoring the fact that she constantly told them not to use that and to run away like, people are dropping like flies yet it seems like no one is actually taking it seriously and decides to listen even when Boris eventually does listen he runs away like 5 meters XD and hides behind a rock. Like when she says run for your life she means get out of the f**kin dungeon lol.

(I might seem overly negative here but at the time I was just upset they pulled a Uno Reverse on his arm after giving us a "Holy shit" moment the episode before, and I'm generally still of the opinion that if you're going to do something like that, follow through on it like Luke Skywalker or Aizawa from MHA, you can replace the arm of course but I don't like it when it feels like a "fake-out")

Seriously everyone run away.

But what I love most about this show. Bell facing a boss. Hero's moment. This anime hits it just perfect. Every. Single. Time.

Please if they survive, can we get finale of season 4 just somethign nice, some chill and dungeon crawling, does every situation has to be 11/10 situation?

If there is a score lower than 1, I will definitely give this episode that score. In another thought, maybe give the whole season that score too. They have butcher one of the best volume of this series with an abhorred animation. When I read this part of Danmachi in LN for the first time, I can feels the despair even without any picture. Just pure writting. And here, a horrible animation ruins it all! I wish they never adapted it.

Well it was predictable Bell did get his arm to fast for me. Let him suffer more pls. Other than that I think its was a decent season fır this anime even the best one for now. I liked the first arc with minor issues and this one started okay can be better with Bell stop being the dumbest person but well I ask for too much. Still I get Ryuu I dungeon and darker atmosphere which I a-like so 6.5/10

RIP usagi yaro. i dont see how he's surviving this. that was rhetorical. cant wait to see the plot armour that helps them this time.

danmachi has seriously been the most 7.5/10 series i've ever watched. i've rated all seasons from 1 to 4 a 8/10.

The end of an era. Thank you Wit, Mappa and Isayama.

At least Juras wasn't able to tame Juggernaut, still, even letting him survive so long...why even listen to all that crap? There was nothing they didn't know in it after thw first 20 seconds. Though Bell sometimes had a lightbulb moments about the stupidest things. After 10 minutes listening to Ryuu, and to Jura going off he finally realized that Jura s the one who killed her famlia. Huh, who could have known, not like either of them told him...

It seems, together with the fact that it's only eleven episodes, that they simply didn't know how to fill thte allotted time. At least do a filler where we see what the other familia ur up to or whatever.

And Cassandra's basically the opposite to Jura. She loves NOT explaining a damn thing. At least a "if we go down there, we die, please trust me" would work wonders, over "i don't want to" or "please don't because of reasons, but I won't tell you *sticks out tongue* na-na na-na boo-boo".

No one ever believes her prophecies because she never even explains that she saw what is going to happen. For all intens and purposes she's just a etulant child.

Also, Juggernaut seems kinda weak. Both Bell and Ryuu are level 4 and survive longer against it then others when they were similar outclassed. Heck, Bell hmself gets saved by Aiz from normal monsters several times..
